About the Area

The Hawkesbury racing pioneers fashioned a race course from 200 acres of virgin bushland in 1865, which led to the inaugural race meeting being conducted on the course in 1871.

The race course has been in continuous use for over one hundred and forty-five years.

We are a NSW provincial club and hold 26 race meetings in a typical racing season.
